Exciting, breaking news! This Sunday, September 18, at 4:00 PM, you are invited to a Burgers, Bluegrass & Bocce Bash on the church's back lot. Burgers will be grilled. We will blast out some bluegrass tunes. Bocce will be bowled. This idea started as a small gathering, but it's been opened up to any in the congregation who can make it!
What: Fellowship event
When: Sunday September 18, 4:00PM - (until?)
What to bring:
lawn chairs for yourself.
yard games (Bocce will be provided, but Lawn Darts, Frisbee, Corn Hole, Badminton . . . whatever you've got hiding in your closet).
bluegrass instruments. If you can hold down the G-C-D chords on Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle, or Bass (not-the-fish), in a bluegrass standard, or even spoons, washboard or just your voice, you're in. Bring what you've got!
What's provided: Bring your appetite! Burgers, buns, condiments, chips, drinks (sodas and water), dessert.
