Children's Worship Class will begin meeting on Sunday, January 7th, 2024. On the first Sundays of the month the church has communion. The children go downstairs at the beginning of worship service and return to the sanctuary in time for them to participate in the communion service. On the other Sundays of the month, they leave worship at the start of the Word part of worship service around the time of the anthem.
We have a couple of Old Testament lessons to complete and then will start lessons about Jesus' ministry. We have a Church Time Circle that helps us keep up with what part of the liturgical year we are in and what color the paraments should be. We got very excited seeing the arrow move closer and closer to Advent. Lent will be the next season we will be anticipating. The children, Tina and Kathy are enjoying our time of fellowship together.
