Updated: Aug 28

HOW DO YOU SPELL IT?

You know . . . O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A, our state song from Rodgers and Hammerstein's historically successful 1943 Broadway musical: OKLAHOMA! The Garvin County Choral Society & Sinfonietta and the Norman Public Schools Fine Arts Program are presenting two fully-stages performances of the show:

Saturday, September 7 - 7:00 pm - Pauls Valley High School Auditorium

and

Friday, September 13 - 7:00 pm - Nancy O'Brian Performing Arts Center, Norman

Tickets for both performances are available online at garvincountysings.com, at the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce, and at the door before each performance. Advance tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for students and youth under 20. Tickets at the door are $30 for adults and $5 for students and youth under 20.

The cast, ensemble, dancers, crew, Sinfonietta, and production team include 100 people from Pauls Valley, Norman, and the region. The awesome cast includes Kathleen Carlton from Pauls Valley as Aunt Eller, Reid Rowland from Mustang as Laurey, Seth Riden from Ada as Curly, Catherine Tay from Norman as Ado Annie, Austin Ladd from Norman as Will Parker, Jay Carlton from Pauls Valley as Old Man Carnes, Geoffrey Carlton from Pauls Valley as Ali Hakim.

Come enjoy this important piece of Oklahoma history.
