Our friends at the Garvin County Sinfonietta are proud to bring you A WORLD-CLASS FIRST FOR THE AREA!
On Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 2:00 pm, in the Pauls Valley High School Auditorium, the
world's most famous Christmas ballet for families and children comes to town, a first for our area. The Nutcracker ballet premiered in 1892 in Saint Petersburg, Russia and is the most performed ballet in the repertoire today.
Ballet Frontier of Texas, a world-class dance company is joined by area dancers from the Pauls Valley Dance Station and the Garvin County Sinfonietta consisting of the finest professional orchestral musicians from central Oklahoma. Featured during the dance of the snowflakes are singers from Pauls Valley Elementary School, Eisenhower Elementary School Norman, and Lindsay Elementary School. The music is exciting, recognizable and dramatic. The set and 250 costumes are provided by Ballet Frontier.
