In the month of September, First Presbyterian participated with the Ministerial Alliance of Pauls Valley in an emphasis to support the Samaritans of Pauls Valley. For our congregation alone, we collected and sent almost $2,000 to support their operations. Cash is always a good way to support Samaritans, as they can purchase at discount from the Regional Food Bank. In addition, we collected harder-to-purchase canned proteins for their shelves and sent volunteers to help their normal operations.
Here is a kind thank-you from the Samaritans that shows how much they do for our community and Garvin County. This is your support put to work. Good job, congregation!
